The Secret of Dongting Lake (2010)
Oryza presented this children's play in collaboration with the TimeOut programme at The EDGE (now Auckland Live).
The Secret of Dongting Lake was an exciting adventure story designed especially for children from 6 to 10 years. This was a brand-new New Zealand children’s theatre show based very loosely on an ancient legend from China, created by celebrated writer Michaelanne Forster and directed by Ben Crowder. This work also featured for the first time a fully Asian cast of local professional performers delivering an original local work.
